The gift . . .The gift is a gracious and kind human being, someone to be a companion, someone to share moments with. Perhaps the human has been in a shipwreck, perhaps he is wounded. The gift is doubled as I offer help and care and comfort from my own heart and soul. I have received the gift of another soul to be a companion to my own. And I have received the gift of another soul to whom I can give of myself. This is a true gift.
