Hillside Yoga Classes

Gentle yoga classes combine classic yoga poses with modifications and support to create a practice that works for just about anyone. We focus on mind-body awareness, breath, balance, strength and safe range of motion.

 NEW BEGINNING YOGA CLASS STARTS IN FEBRUARY!

THIS CLASS IS ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL LEVELS. 

THIS 6 WEEK CLASS WILL FOCUS ON

  • Improved body awareness–sensation, posture, stress, ease, discomfort

  • Mindful movement and alignment

  • Core awareness/strength

  • Awareness of personal breathing patterns

  • Even breath, whisper breath, belly breath, alternate breath

  • Guided meditation–body sensing, breath, thoughts, emotions, safe place

This class will meet Thursday evenings from 7-8:30pm, February 1-March 8

Cost $90 for the 6-week session. No drop-ins.

Saturdays, 10 – 11 AM

Joanne’s Saturday morning class will continue in 2018.

Practice traditional yoga poses using a chair for support with the option to move to the mat for final stretching and relaxation.
