This is a great introduction to the practice of yoga whether you have just started a class or are only thinking about it. You will learn some background on yoga and what to expect during a typical class. More importantly, you will have the chance to ask questions and get feedback from an experienced yoga teacher.
Your teacher is Joanne Rogers, Registered Yoga Teacher for over 15 years.

- Basic philosophy and key terms
- Yogic Breathing
- Basic postures and modifications
- Typical class flow
- Studio etiquette
Please bring:
- A thin yoga mat. We have a few extra, so you can borrow one if you need to. It’s difficult to balance and be steady with a thick mat.
- All your yoga questions
- Your sense of humor
What to wear:
- Comfortable clothing that is not too loose
- Lightweight wrap or sweater if you tend to get cold
- Yoga is usually practiced barefoot
The cost is $60 per person. Class size is limited so please register early.
