iRest Integrative Restoration Yoga Nidra Meditation

Beginning October 2023, the Center for Mindful Exploration is offering iRest Yoga Nidra. This guided meditation is an evidence-based transformative practice that supports psychological, physical, and spiritual healing and well-being. No meditation experience is required.

If you have attended any of our Sunday Savasana sessions, you have had a taste of how relaxing and restorative Yoga Nidra can be. We have chosen iRest because it is very accessible to both new and experienced meditators.

Joanne Rogers will be your guide. She is currently an iRest Yoga Nidra Level 1 Teacher and has been teaching and leading meditation, including Nidra, for many years.

Joining us in the studio

iRest Yoga Nidra can be practiced sitting up, lying down or even standing up. If you plan to lie down (my favorite!) please bring a mat. You may also want to bring a blanket or beach towel and small pillow. I have chairs, bolsters and blankets as well.

Joining Online

When you register for the online class, you will receive a Zoom link for the class. Prepare your space to comfortably sit or lie down for meditation. I encourage you to have your camera on during class discussion, but it’s not required.

Private Co-Meditation by appointment

iRest is a form of meditative self-inquiry. If you would like be guided in a practice that meets your unique needs, consider a private session. Contact joanne@Mindfulx.site to set up an appointment.
