Mindfulness

Welcome to our Mindfulness Community.

We offer a number of ways to learn more about mindfulness, from our free monthly meditation, to classes for beginners and for those with ongoing meditation and mindfulness practices. We also offer workshops on a variety of topics.

COMMUNITY MEDITATION

Community Meditation meets the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7-8 pm. Each month we do a different type of meditation. Please see the link for more information about the meditations we provide. We meet at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in LaGrange, GA. THIS IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY, SO PLEASE COME JOIN US.

HILLSIDE YOGA

Gentle yoga classes combine classic yoga poses with modifications and support to create a practice that works for just about anyone. We focus on mind-body awareness, breath, balance, strength and safe range of motion.

BEGINNING MINDFULNESS MEDITATION CLASS

Our beginning class is a 4-week experiential class that meets once or twice a year, depending on need. To find out how to get on a waiting list for the next class, please call or email.

SILENT RETREAT

The Center for Mindful Exploration hosts a spring and fall Silent Retreats.

LIVING WITH INTENTION

An 8-Week Advanced Meditation and Mindfulness Intensive

BALANCED EMPATHY WORKSHOP

Both modern psychology and traditional mind-body practices offer approaches to balancing our empathetic responses to pain and difficulty around us. We’ll explore both in this workshop.

INTRODUCTION TO CHAKRA MEDITATION WORKSHOP

A 2-day interactive workshop that explores the basics of this ancient system in a way that has meaning in our lives today.
