Susan Marshall is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia and the founder of The Center for Mindful Exploration.
In her therapy practice she sees individuals, families and couples and addresses a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions and personal growth and development.
Susan believes that we are each born with the innate ability to heal and that much of what we need for healing can be heard when we quiet the internal chatter and judgment and begin to hear the small, quiet voice within.
After several years of using mindfulness based therapy, she became interested in teaching mindfulness meditation in a more structured way. In 2011, she began teaching beginning mindfulness meditation classes. The classes are interactive in nature. Please see the “Workshops and Classes” page for more information.
Additionally, Susan lives with her husband and the lively troop of friends and family who fill her home. She enjoys walking in the woods, kayaking, writing, reading, gardening and playing with her family.
