In addition to therapy and yoga, we offer a number of ways to learn more about mindfulness, from our free monthly meditation, to classes for beginners and for those with ongoing meditation and mindfulness practices. We also offer workshops on a variety of topics.

Community Meditation
Community Meditation meets the first Wednesday of each month from 7-8 pm. Each month we do a different type of meditation. We meet at The Center For Mindful Exploration at Hillside, located at 8 Garfield Street, LaGrange, GA. THIS IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY, SO PLEASE COME JOIN US.

Stitch and Soothe: Knitting for calm and connection
Stitch and Soothe is a four-week therapeutic program led by Holly Roberts, APC. This group is designed to help participants manage anxiety and enhance mental well-being through the calming practice of knitting.

Learn about this unique technology that uses a blend of breath work, repetitive movements, sustained postures, mantra and meditation to balance and optimize the body systems, strengthen resilience to stress, and deepen spiritual connection. Discover Ayurveda with Sara Burress, Saturday, September 6, 10 a.m, $30
Ayurveda, Sanskrit for the “science of life,” is a method of healing from Ancient India. Learn about the foundations of Ayurvedic healing, identify how the Ayurvedic Dosas are present in you and bring more balance into your life. This workshop is accessible to most everyone.

Yoga Explorer Series
This series offers a multi-week approach that provides a more in-depth focus on specific topics. Most classes are 3-4 weeks, meeting once a week. This series is perfect for those looking to broaden their practice and expand their understanding.
Kundalini Toolkit with Hanley Bradfield, Mondays, June 9, 16, 23, 30, 7 PM, $100
Enjoy a 4 week series that provides a time and space for your nervous system to relax and reset. Expect to learn simple tools to bring the body and nervous system back into balance that you can take with you off the mat and incorporate into everyday life. Experiences will consist of a blend of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation practices, as well as exploration into Occupational Therapy based techniques for a more regulated and resilient nervous system. Our body systems are continually taxed from the outside world; create a safe space internally so that you may more easily thrive throughout daily living. Explore Yoga with Joanne Rogers, Mondays, July 7, 14, 21, 28, 7 PM, $100
Go beyond the poses in this experiential series designed for yogis ready to deepen their practice. Through movement, breath, discussion, and meditation, we’ll explore the philosophy, energy systems, and spiritual roots of yoga in an accessible, integrated way. Each week will include yoga philosophy made practical, thematic asana practice, and opportunities for questions and reflection.

Fall Meditation Retreat 2025
Join us Saturday, September 27, 2025, 10 AM – 3 PM for a day of contemplation with a combination of structured (guided) and unstructured meditation and movement. It is a time for healing and for deeply relaxing the Central Nervous System.
